In order to scan folders or files, follow the steps below:

1. In the Titanium Antivirus 2004 window, go to the Full scan menu.
   
2. Then you will be able to scan any component of your computer. In order to scan a folder or a file, select the option Scan other items.
   
3. This displays the dialog box in which the icons for the Folders and Files scans appear:
   
    Folders. When you click on the folders icon, a dialog box with all of the folders will be displayed. Click on the checkbox that appears on the left of each one in order to select the folders to be scanned. When you have selected them, click on the OK button.
   
    Files. When you click on the files icon, a dialog box will appear where you can select the disk drive and folder where the files that you want to scan are located. To scan these files click on the check box on the left of each of the items. When the files have been selected, click on the OK button.
